See ospreys and pelicans as they glide by at eye level or plunge into the water for a meal.
You might even spot a huge sea turtle returning to the water after laying her eggs (or more likely you'll see her tracks out of and then back into the water.) Thousands of green, loggerhead and leatherback females return to lay their eggs on Volusia County beaches where they themselves were hatched years earlier. If you're really lucky you'll see dozens of babies emerge from beneath the sand and scramble for the "safety" of the ocean weeks after their mother nested there.
Walk, run or bike on the wide, flat beach. Swim or relax at the pool or on the beach, which is never crowed. A storage locker contains beach chairs, an umbrella and a cart to transport them. There's even a large sun canopy for days when the cool ocean breezes aren't too strong.

March 22nd , 2019 - "The place was positively beautiful and clean. Loved how it was decorated - beachy but not overdone. I can't think of a single thing that it was lacking as far as kitchen "appliances." Everything was in good working order so had no issues there. I did give the condo 5 stars but my one and only complaint was the weather. Guess you all don't really have control over the weather but at least I had a view of the ocean and a clean, nice place to be inside for those times when the beach was just too chilly; hence the 5 star rating! I loved the balcony and was able to enjoy it a couple of times. July 18, 2017- "This is the first time we have rented a condo through VRBO or any other similar website. So we weren't sure what we were going to get once we arrived since all we had were the internet pictures and description to go on. Well let me tell you this place was beautiful! It is on the top floor near the end of building. The beach view from the full set of floor to ceiling windows in the living room and dining room was fantastic! We also spend many of our days before of after the beach on the nice balcony sitting at the bar chairs and table. The condo is right off the elevators which we never heard and makes it very convenient to go shopping or to the beach. The view is spectacular and the condo is furnished very nicely. The overall beautiful furnishing and quality of the furnishings make this place a real gem to say in. The owners and management company have made sure that there is nothing you would need from beach things, like beach chairs and umbrella, a canopy tent for beach shade, beach towels, small beach cooler to things inside the condo such as all the cookware and a crock pot, blender, Keurig coffee maker, and supplies such as a scissors and even reading glasses! There are also many "beach books", two DVD players, a nice bathroom with shampoos and body wash, and the list goes on and on. Again, being my first time doing this, I was not sure if this was standard or not, but either way this unexpected and very helpful. We really did feel like we were at home and I highly recommend this condo! Just don't book it the same time as when we want to come back, which we will definitely do! Entering the apartment for the first time we were drawn to the beach side of the unit which is mostly glass and overlooks the wide beach far below. This unit was perfect for our early Summer escape from the routine. We loved the beautiful beach-themed furnishings and found that the condo had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beach here is magnificent. It's wide, firm and uncrowded. One cloudy, cool day we walked the beach Southward to JB's Fish Camp for lunch - a 5 mile round trip.
