May 7, 2015 - This really was the perfect couple getaway! We needed some R&R and this condo provided just what we were looking for. Being on the 6th floor made for beautiful views up and down the private beaches. While the location was a few miles from the hustle and bustle of Flagler Ave. the privacy and uncrowded beaches made up for not being able to walk to restaurants and shops. The pool area was very nice with tables, chairs, loungers and umbrellas but we spent every free moment at the beach. Even did a little boogie boarding and saw others trying to surf, but this just depended on the waves each day. The water was warm and clear. Of course, the perfect location would have been completely spoiled if the condo and complex was not cared for. NOT the case at all! Extremely clean, this unit is right next to the elevator and super close to the laundry. Friendly neighbors although the resident right next door listened to music during the day that was a little disturbing. This never went on into the evening though so did not bother us much. If you love coffee, we highly recommend Island Roasters on North Causeway. Being gluten free we found a gem of a restaurant in Casa Verde! Fresh fare, reasonable prices. July 11, 2014 -We just returned from one week at Smryna Beach club, booked through Great Ocean Condos. This is our second time using them and our experience was excellent again! I booked last minute and they were able to accommodate us starting and ending in the middle of the week - and all of this during 4th of July as well. We have NEVER had a better fireworks experience than the one right on the beach in front of our condo. It was amazing, a best kept secret of new Smyrna, as every condo complex had tons of fireworks going off in front of them. It was just great! The place was clean, the people were nice, and the small issue we had was resolved immediately.
