Before you venture out to the ocean view balcony, acclimate yourself in your soon-to-be favorite place… the bright and airy kitchen! This space pays special attention to detail from the starfish hardware on the white and muted green cabinets to the modern, sandy-toned backsplash. Stainless steel appliances and granite countertops are the finishing touch to the kitchen's modern look. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, it also offers excellent functionality. The cabinets and drawers are fully-stocked with dinnerware, utensils, a drip coffee maker, a toaster, and any cooking necessity you should need.
As is the condo's quirky nature, the dining room table doesn't fit the traditional mold. You'll find that the kitchen opens up to the dining area where a long white table horizontally flanks the living room couch. Four white chairs line one side and allow those eating to easily watch TV and enjoy the balcony's view. This informal set-up is especially perfect for families as kids can easily snack and watch cartoons without making a mess on the couch. Additional seating for two is provided at the kitchen's extended counter.
When mealtime is over and everyone is ready to get cozy, curl up for an evening movie in the living room. This area is certainly the focal point of the condo as it bursts with color from the rustic, teal TV armoire to the colorful striped wall. Get comfy with a throw pillow on the L-shape, grey couch and choose a family favorite to watch on the flat-screen TV (DVD player included!).
Before you settle in for the night, enjoy one last serene moment outdoors on your second-floor balcony. The balcony overlooks the complex's two Olympic-sized swimming pools, the shuffleboard courts, and has a great glimpse of the blue waters beyond. Just sit back in one of the four chairs and let your mind unwind to the sound of the nearby crashing waves.
When your yawns begin to interrupt the quiet serenity, head to the master bedroom to continue your R&R. Unlike the main area's vibrant colors, the master suite takes on a softer, subtler tone with its pastel walls, grey accents, and soft king size bed. This room accommodates with plenty of dresser space for personals and a flat-screen TV within a dark wooden armoire. The adjoining bathroom has a walk-in shower with a moveable showerhead, a granite-top vanity, and plenty of bath towels.
While you drift off to sleep, the others in your family will be just as cozy in the guest bedroom. This bedroom sleeps up to four as a full bed and a full/twin bunk are provided. Your kids will be delighted to find a TV mounted on the wall to watch their favorite shows on. The nearby guest bathroom has a sliding-glass standard tub, a granite-top vanity, and plenty of towels for everyone.
The condo is equipped with plenty of linens, towels, beach chairs, and all the conveniences of home to make your stay comfortable. There is cable, a DVD player, free wireless internet, long-distance calling, a drip coffee maker, and an assigned parking space.

The king bed felt like a plush upscale hotel bed. And the second room had more than enough space for our two young boys, with the comfortable trundle bed option as well as a queen. The location is seriously perfect, being a super short walk directly out the back door and past the pool area to the beautiful beach. The beach was not busy at all, but that could have been due to the off season. The condo came stocked with everything we could have needed. This was the perfect distance from downtown; far enough to be on the car-free beach, but not so far that going out for coffee in the morning was a pain. We loved the pool and the beach, and the other residents were very friendly and made us feel welcome. And our daughter loved the game and puzzle options. June 25, 2016- "We have stayed at Sea Coast Gardens several times (booked through Great Ocean Condos). This complex is our favorite in New Smyrna. We love the large pools & no parking on the beach. We always choose our units very carefully because we love the updated look & this condo does not disappoint. The owners have done a gorgeous job renovating this property! They opened up the kitchen and it's much more spacious! They also took out a closet to make the 2nd bedroom bigger. We LOVE the bunk beds in this unit. We also really appreciated the new mattress in the master. Very firm & comfortable. The bunk beds & kitchen are actually what made us switch from our other favorite unit. The views are side views but definitely great! I loved being on the 2nd floor so it's easier to use the stairs over the elevator. The only real complain was the TV. It has an app where you can sign in so you can watch your own Netflix or amazon or whatever. The app is super slow and we never got it to work. We haven't had this issue in other condos we've rented. We fly in from Texas so we aren't able to bring any extras with us. I would rent this condo again in a minute. There are a few things I wish this unit did have: a blender (frozen drinks at the beach!!), nonstick pans for scrambled eggs in the morning, a sun (shade) umbrella for the beach, and beach chairs that have more than lay down or sit straight up positions. These are definitely nitpicky things. But we rent a lot in Sea Coast and find these items to be standard. Also, if you are local & can bring your own, I thought this would be helpful for you to know what to bring with you. Definitely rent this unit! You will not regret it. -- Michele L., Austin TX

January 7, 2015 - Unbelievable Value! We used http://www.greatoceancondos.com/rns/rental/SCGII209/ to rent this beachside condo. It was so simple to do! My Wife and I, and our son and his friend went and spent a long weekend to celebrate our birthdays and get away. The unit was absolutely spotless and extremely well decorated and comfortable to lounge around in. We all enjoyed the pool, shuffle board and fishing on the beach just down the stairs from the pool. We enjoyed the quiet nights by the beach and early sunrises from the balcony while enjoying our morning tea while listening to the waves crash on the sand. Plenty of good and convenient restaurants for dinner when we didn't choose to cook in the well-stocked kitchen. Grocery store was just down the street. Parking was easy with reserved spots for the unit. Highly recommend. The owner and property manager were very friendly and easy to work with. We have stayed in a lot of units on the beach ...
